Atlas Announces New Technology Development.
Today we are making a big announcement.
Over the past two years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to defining what Atlas truly stands for—our strengths, what the market needs, and our vision for the next five years and beyond. We asked ourselves: How can we innovate, differentiate, and grow into a global market leader?
From our beginnings as an Instagram account sharing some of the world’s most impactful stories, we expanded into a website and app, exploring different types of content formats and topics. Alongside us, a number of similar accounts arose, covering everything from history to regional events, newsletters to documentaries, or memes and merch - together creating a unique and special community that we all love.
As we took a deeper look at what we were doing, we saw that we needed to evolve. While we've provided valuable articles and insights, it became clear that we weren’t sufficiently distinct in a rapidly changing market. To realize our full potential, we needed to look beyond simply posting content. We aren’t here to just post content on our feeds and call that differentiation, the truth is - it isnt. We are here to provide valuable intelligence to a global community of professionals in a rapidly changing world beyond what is currently available.
This past year, the intelligence we’ve gathered and shared opened up exciting new doors. We successfully raised new capital to explore innovative content types and new directions for the company. This support has enabled us to assist Fortune 500 companies in navigating global complexities, helping billion-dollar hedge funds gain a competitive edge, and support leading organizations with our expertise from a team of writers - all while still delivering engaging content you know and love, sprinkled with horse memes.
But we still were not satisfied. We have some of the brightest minds in technology and intelligence as a part of Atlas, and we believe that we can do more to deliver value to the world and evolve from being just another Instagram account. This effort is big, our ambitions are large, and the path ahead of us is paved with early mornings and long nights. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Today, we are excited to announce our next chapter:
Atlas News is becoming Atlas Technologies.
We are starting the process of developing a Global Intelligence technology platform - taking current and historical locations and events around the world, consumer sentiment, and alternative publicly available information to create a single-source intelligence platform for the public to make better and faster decisions.
Our vision is to build an enterprise SaaS that any company, organization, or individual can research their own objectives, and locations, and search publicly available information and contextualize those objective themselves in real time. Merged with LLM, NLP, and A.I models built in house by our network of intelligence professionals, we plan to build a platform that finds anomalies in large amounts of data not currently available.
As part of this - we plan to revolutionize how news is produced. Our extended vision is to create a news platform that reads like a research paper and is interactive in nature. Not just a chronological feed of stories like traditional media, but taking the data that we gather on our platform, and as you read you can hover over topics and events to see the information we gathered and go down your own path to read more. Scroll the globe and find specific news for the area you are looking at. A platform that gives you all the information for the story and context needed.
This plan requires ambitious goals and calculated risk. It involves putting everything you have and more into this vision and not leaving anything on the table. It involves quitting your job to dive into this full-time and taking the risk of investing all of your own money. It requires a bigger team that is willing to risk all of that and can pull together resources to build something bigger than we thought possible. It requires everything and more.
This is months of our own research finding what we are capable of, what the market needs, and where we are uniquely positioned to grow. Our reach in the Intelligence Community is large and the team we are building is robust.
We are building a team of former Generals, Commanders, individuals who have worked for the State Department, SOCOM, Naval Special Warfare, those who have built or sold companies worth over $ 1 billion in enterprise value, developers who have built some of the most advanced informational technology companies in public and private sectors, Directors and Analysts who currently work in the IC, and even more to join.
It’s a long road, a tough one - yet an exciting one and one that we see ourselves growing into an industry and category-defining company.
